Juliet Jacques has created a free online masterclass on how we tell our stories for pupils aged 14 to 18, as part of Just Like Us’ School Diversity Week celebrations.
School Diversity Week is happening 21-25 June and will see a range of free masterclasses taking place online, organised by Just Like Us, the LGBT+ young people’s charity.
Primary schools, secondary schools and colleges can sign up to take part in School Diversity Week, which is a celebration of LGBT+ equality and seeks to improve the lives of LGBT+ young people who right now are disproportionately struggling with mental health, tension at home and feeling less safe in school.
Juliet Jacques’ free online masterclass is titled ‘How do we tell our stories?’ and can be watched below.
Join Juliet on Friday 25 June at 15:30-16:10 for the premiere of her School Diversity Week masterclass.
Juliet Jacques (she/her) is a writer and filmmaker who teaches at the Royal College of Art and is the author of 'Trans: A Memoir'.
