Start a Pride Group

[Our Pride Group] has helped me
feel accepted and gave me a space to explore my identity and ways to transition. It is also a place where I can hang out as myself and feel as though I have nothing to hide.

It’s helped me feel less isolated and
more confident about being myself.
It’s nice to have a place to go to
where the people within it understand some
struggles that you’re going through.

A Pride Group is a student-led group which provides a safe place for students to meet, support each other, talk about issues related to sexual orientation and gender identity and expression, and work to end homophobia, biphobia and transphobia (HBT).
