to donate to
Just Like Us
You can get 100 free rainbow ribbons to sell at an event or around your campus. We ask that we receive at least £15 for the box, but usually receive a lot more than this!
To order a box, just email firstname.lastname@example.org with the number of ribbons you'd like and we'll organise for them to be delivered.
Organise an event
Fancy organising an event to raise money for Just Like Us?
Whether it be a campus party/disco, film night, sports event, talent competition, bake sale or photography competition, events are an excellent and inclusive way to fundraise.
We can provide posters, badges and other resources to help raise money on the day.
You can set up a fundraising page at
https://www.totalgiving.co.uk/fundraise/just-like-us - it's a quick and easy way to encourage friends, family and colleagues to support your event or activities. By entering your email, you'll be taken to our fundraising site. NB - logging in with your Facebook makes sharing on social media easier.
Don't forget to shout out about your fundraising on social media!
Example social media posts:
“We're raising money to support the work @JustLikeUsUK does to tackle homophobia, biphobia and transphobia at school. You can donate to our fundraising campaign at…”
“Since February 2016, @JustLikeUsUK Ambassadors have delivered talks and workshops to over 30,000 pupils, tackling homophobia and championing LGBT+ equality. By donating, we can help them reach even more young people!”
Don’t have social media? Email us at email@example.com with an image or video and a description of what your university has been doing and we’ll post about it for you.
