Our Founders' Circle is an exclusive group of members committed to helping us realise our vision, a world where LGBT+ young people live awesome lives, by making an annual gift of over £1,000 to Just Like Us.
Just Like Us was established in 2015 thanks to the generosity of a few individuals who saw the potential to change the lives of young LGBT+ people.
Our growing network of supporters have continuously helped us to achieve our ambitious goals and shown their commitment to ending homophobic, biphobic and transphobic bullying in UK schools. We are immensely proud to have:
trained over 200 ambassadors who spoke directly with 30,000 school pupils
empowered 650,000 pupils during School Diversity Week 2017
received national media coverage reaching more than 3.5m people
With your help, we aim to have trained 550 ambassadors to work with 50,000 school pupils in 40 UK locations by 2021.
How your annual gift helps Just Like Us
£1,000 could allow three schools, otherwise financially unable, to join our national network, benefiting from talks and workshops championing LGBT+ equality and ongoing resources
£2,500 could support the development of new teaching resources and ongoing support for schools taking part in School Diversity Week
£5,000 could fund 6 new ambassadors to work with 2,000 young people in talks and workshops championing LGBT+ equality

"The workshop was a highlight of the year for our students. It challenged their thinking and opinions in an open, honest and supportive way. The programme is fantastic value and is now becoming a permanent fixture.” - Head Teacher

“[Seeing] how happy the ambassadors were to be themselves, made life feel that bit more positive and that there’s hope for everyone.” - LGBT+ Pupil
