School Diversity Week is the UK-wide celebration of LGBT+ equality in primary and secondary schools run by charity Just Like Us and takes place 20-24 June this year.

Grandad’s Camper

Grandad’s Camper follows the story of a girl and her grandad who takes them on a special campervan trip, sharing heartwarming stories of his adventures with the late Gramps, Grandad’s partner who passed away.

The resources are free to access for primary school staff ahead of School Diversity Week to help primary schools to celebrate diverse families.

Publisher Andersen Press is also running a giveaway of book copies to primary schools who sign up to take part in School Diversity Week through Just Like Us.

Harry Woodgate (they/them) is the author and illustrator of Grandad’s Camper.
