Did you know that the City of Cleveland is home to the highest concentration of ex-offenders in the State of Ohio? The cycle of incarceration, recidivism and re-entry in our neighborhoods has taken its toll on far too many children, families and communities. The neighborhoods with the most concentrated ex-offender population were Hough, Central, Glenville, Mt. Pleasant and Union Miles (*).
Founded in 2002 by Marc and Jana Crosby, Just Like Us Family Enrichment Center is a non-profit social services agency established to make a positive impact on members of the community, one of our community focuses is the re-entry of ex-offenders into the community. Addressing the need for re-entry services in Ohio is critical to the health of the city's communities, public safety, and the well being of ex-offenders and their families. Uniquely, JLU uses a family development approach in all their work.
