Community Projects

In 2010, Just Like Us Enrichment Center will open the Community Resource Depot. This enterprise will employ six individuals from the local area in order to provide hygiene products, work clothes, and other necessities in partnership with The Ohio Benefit Bank.

Additionally, the Community Resource Depot will feature a fee-based laundry to wash, fold, and package clothing for clients enrolled in our job placement program. Profits from the Community Resource Depot will be reinvested back into the families in the community.

At this time, Just Like Us is working on the following community project: 

Lorain/Cleveland Buildings - We are in the process of acquiring two buildings from which to distribute furniture, clothing, and food to those in need.  In addition, these buildings will also serve as an extension of our main office to better meet the needs of those in our communities.
