On behalf of the board, staff and volunteers of Just Like Us, welcome to our newly designed website. I’m Virginia Davidson, board president of Just Like Us.
As a federal prosecutor, I seldom thought about what happened to incarcerated individuals after they served their time, much less the profound effect that a prison sentence has on family and community. Now, as a criminal defense attorney, I am beginning to appreciate the incredible strength and the will required to turn one life around, and to see how other lives that benefit when that happens. At Just Like Us, we turn successes into opportunities to give back, so that one success begets another.
