About Us

Just Like Us (JLU) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing specialized services to strengthen families and support ex-offenders re-entering the community.  Our mission is to strengthen families and enrich the lives of children by empowering people and individuals re-entering communities to achieve self-sufficiency through training, education and other supportive services. Just Like Us uses a family development approach to lead families along with ex-offenders through a 24-month program resulting in self-sufficiency and community integration.

Virginia DavidsonOne of our driving principles is the concept of community investment. When families and individuals are supported in their efforts to become self-sufficient, they in turn are more fully able to give back to the community.
